The Premier Cru vineyard of Charmes, located to the south of Meursault, is one of the region’s largest. The wine is fermented and aged in French oak barrels, 40% are new. The nose shows citrus blossom, wet-stone, some tropical fruit notes and a hint of honeyed, toasted nuts. Melon and ripe citrus on the palate which finishes long.

Remoissenet Père & Fils operates both as a wine domaine and négociant, having access to some of Burgundy’s finest vineyards either directly or via some rather prestigious connections.

Just perfect with chicken, pork, pastry with rich buttery and creamy sauces.
