A crystalline straw yellow colour in the glass. When shaken, the pleasant floral nose offers acacia, tropical fruit and very ripe pomelo aromas. Very fresh on the palate, with a lovely unctuous, crisp body, delicate aromas (citrus fruit) and a delightfully spirited finish.

The Barthe family’s attachment to this ‘terroir’ is illustrated by the oldest inscriptions that can be found in the parish archives. This family wine estate, which is over four hundred years old, has been run by Stéphane and Alain Barthe since 1997. The château is situated on the slopes of the Entre-deux-mers around the commune of Naujan and Postiac.

The grapes are picked at an ideal level of ripeness, then de-stalked and sorted manually. Once the juice has settled, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, followed by cold stabilisation. The wine is then racked and matured on the lees prior to blending and filtering, and is bottled on the property.

Fantastic with oriental cuisine, seafood salad, pasta or goats cheese.
