A soft, generous Shiraz parcel was chosen to help balance and soften the fruit-driven Grenache and structured Mourvedre. This results in finishing with an expressive, approachable wine.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe Shiraz comes from our Burgoyne’s Block on east and west-facing slopes, which helps to concentrate the Shiraz varietal flavours. The Mourvedre fruit was grown on the De Bortoli Shelley’s Vineyard on the eastern edge of the Rutherglen region. The Grenache was from Heathcote to help add weight and spice.
