With our Arômes de Maures we revived an old tradition of our Domaine. A Rosé from best grapes, with a "passage en fûts" for 4 months in classic french oak barrels. This wine is full and round on the palate without any touch of oak affecting the freshness of a Provence Rosé. But this little improvement makes the Rosé a perfect companion for sophisticated dishes such as a fillet of veal. Arômes des Maures is a limited edition of just 3000 bottles.

Volià the tasting comments of Jerôme, our oenologist: The wine is of light apricot colour The aromatic profile reveals notes of confectionery, dry apricot, gingerbread, liquorice. On the palate a pretty volume, afresh, peppered, mentholated, complex and tender, a finish with notes of pastry.

A wine of great delicacy of body and aromas. Incomparable Provence.

Arômes des Maures is a sophisticated Rosé. It will perfectly accompany veal and poultry, grilled fish or meat throughout delicious summer nights. Its minerality and its aromatic scents make it a perfect companion for spicy dishes.

Fresh and dry Rosé wines from Provence are an excellent accompaniment to all kinds of fresh cheeses. Following the good rule on the subject of wine and cheese that due to the same climatic and geographic conditions wine and cheese from the same region will marry well together, we recommend a fresh and mild goat or sheep cheese, such as Etorki or Chavroux. Do also try a Brie de Meaux with the Cuvée Préstige. Alternatively, we recommend our Rosé wines to accompany hard cheeses with characteristic salt crystals. For example, a full-flavoured Gruyère - an aromatic raw milk cheese from western Switzerland - or a mild Comté - a raw milk cheese from the French Jura.
