On the nose is fresh fruit, wild berries, pink grapefruit & pomegranate. On the palate it is crisp, fresh & aromatic with a mineral finish, evoking the Mediterranean sea breeze which blows through our vineyards.
From 2024, to protect local biodiversity and elevate Côtes de Provence wines, we will be working hand in hand with other organic winegrowers in the region. Galoupet Nomade will be the expression of this collaborative vision: a wine crafted from top quality grapes for instant pleasure that reflects the freshness, accessibility and generosity of Provence while retaining the signature of the estate.
For this first 2021 vintage, we have crafted Galoupet Nomade with our own grapes, all grown on small individual plots in conversion to organic viticulture:
Perfect for outdoor and on-the-go occasions, Galoupet Nomade is a great option for a seafood-meat-veggie barbecue, or even a simple lemon meringue pie.
Did you know that packaging accounts for around 40% of carbon emissions in the wine industry? At Château Galoupet, our bottles are all part of our ecosystem. Galoupet Nomade is packed in an ultra-light, flat bottle made from 100% POP (Prevented Ocean Plastic): recycled PET collected from coastal areas at risk of plastic pollution. This material is often used for food and beverage packaging and completely wine-safe. Developed by sustainable packaging experts Packamama, its weight (just 63g) and shape helps to optimize pallet space and reduce carbon emissions during transportation. Portable, shatterproof and easy to open and close thanks to its screwcap, it’s ideal for picnics and special moments on-the-go, and 100% recyclable too.
