Locals call them \"The Bastard Vineyards.\" It took the creativity of Casa Rojo's Wine Gurus to decide that those grapes deserved, after years of neglect, to be enhanced. That is why they decided to select and harvest those vineyards, producing this unique wine. Harvested by hand in the second half of September, the clusters undergo double selection on arrival at the winery, followed by destemming. Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, after malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in new French oak barrels for 6 months.
