A Spanish treat from one of the most recognised names in winemaking.

Morello cherry, with high intensity of wild berries and ripe fruit. Fresh, fruity, and smooth on the palate.

For Mathilde Chapoutier, wine is the fruit of pleasure. Through encounters and appellations, different soils reveal their secrets with their different characteristics. A journey, the idea of transmission, is meaningful. Wine is a permanent exploration, an never-ending journey.

The soil is clay-limestone. Located on the meseta castellana, the vines grow at about 800 m altitude. Characterised by low rainfall (around 500 mm per year), the winters are long and cold and the summers are dry and very hot. These important variations in temperature throughout the year also influence the quality of the resulting wine.

Hand-picking using fruit crates of less than 20kgs. The grapes are destemmed. Vinification in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. 3 weeks maceration. Aged in stainless steel tanks with a maceration.

Enjoy with BBQ dishes, and game.
