Château Minuty's top rosé. Rose et Or is one of the best rosés of Provence, a delicate, subtle wine made from old vines with exceptional care.

A modern rosé created by Francois and Jean-Etienne Matton, the third generation of the family of winemakers to have established Minuty as an internationally recognised brand. Rose et Or is made from 95% Grenache and 5% Syrah, cool-fermented to create an elegant yet vibrant and aromatic rosé with superb freshness.

Cultivated using sustainable agriculture methods, the vineyard thrives in a coastal area with southwest exposure on soils composed of mica shist.

The grapes are harvested by hand. De-stemming and crushing are followed by cooling and inert gas injection. Free-run juices are selected. Alcoholic fermentation at 14°C.

As early as 1930, Gabriel Farnet completely replanted the estate and restored its splendor to the Château Minuty, built under Napoleon III, as was the small chapel that gave its name to the cuvée de l'Oratoire, which had long remained the emblematic bottle of the estate. The palaces of the Côte d'Azur still possess its bellied bottles with the Burgundy.

In 1955, Château Minuty is one of 23 properties to be distinguished as a Classified Growth of the Côtes de Provence. Since 1960, Monique Farnet, daughter of Gabriel, and her husband Etienne Matton, long-time president of the classified wines, have replanted the traditional Provencal varieties (Tibouren, rolle, Grenache), limited yields by seeking a high quality of vinification. Thanks to this rigorous work in the vineyards, they have established the reputation of Château Minuty on the largest tables of the Côte d'Azur.

Today, Jean-Etienne and François Matton have taken over and continue to advance Minuty. They have signed up by restructuring the vineyard - replacing carignan and white ugni with grenache and rolle - and by acquiring a modern and efficient tool while opening up more to the outside, through a global presence on the best tables. By developing the reception of visitors on site, Jean-Etienne and François Matton work daily for the radiation of Minuty. A major rehabilitation project for the vault was completed. 

Perfect on its own in the sunshine or seafood, bouillabaisse, Asian food, sushi, strawberry and basil salad.
