Dark berry fruits combine with a lively palate entwined with pepper spices and chocolate tones. A long savoury finish is coated in soft tannins to complete this rich and generous palate. This glorious Shiraz is dense and spicy, aged for 10 months in French and US oak.

The acclaimed St Hallett winery began in 1800s, when the German-born Linders family scraped together a great living, determined to make the most of Barossa's rich soils. Over 200 years later, the 'Faith' pays homage to their determination in the now world-famous region.

St Hallett, located in the heart of the Barossa Valley in South Australia, has a history of producing wines that dates back to 1944. Established by the Lindner Family, St Hallett Wines is one of the older Barossa wineries. St Hallett’s first forty years were spent in the traditional production of fortified wines typical of the region at that time, however in 1988, the company underwent a rebirth which has resulted in its elevation to one of the premium wine producers in Australia. The winery’s rich resource of old vines and long-term relationships with Barossa growers – St Hallett utilises up to a total of 700 hectares of vines – provides the winemaking team with a diversity of fruit, allowing them to constantly evolve and adapt techniques for each vintage and each parcel. This intimate approach to each individual parcel is best exemplified in St Hallett’s commitment to Barossa Shiraz. The team selects and keeps separate over 200 different parcels of Shiraz each vintage, ensuring meticulous tailoring of fermentation and maturation for each individual parcel. Focus coupled with exploration is the common thread that runs through each St Hallett expression of Barossa wineSt Hallett is dedicated to translating the tapestry of soils and meso-climates of the Barossa in each of its wines. This is made possible by a rich resource of old vines, long-term relationships with growers and the winemakers’ experience and intimate approach to each individual parcel of fruit from the vineyard, through the winery to the final wine.

Red-brown loam over shale and red clay vineyards in the South and Central Barossa Valley enable us to create wine parcels of generosity of flavour, length and texture.
