Available in 6 bottle cases. 1 bottle of each wine in each case.
The case includes:
- Campo del Soglio, San Martino della Battaglia DOC, Podere Selva Capuzza 75cl
It is one of the smallest Italian doc productions. Campo del Soglio is the wine that wants to revive and save this small appellation from disappearing and is working hard to explore its potential. Produced from an indigenous grape which has lost its name it produces an elegant, delicate and slightly aromatic white wine. This was our no.1 wine of the summer!
- Lugana Selva, Podere Selva Capuzza, Garda DOC 75cl
This characterful white wine is made from the local Turbiana grape which is virtually unknown outside of its Lake Garda homeland. It is reputed to be related to the famous Verdicchio variety and tends to produce attractive white wines with hints of tropical fruit and floral notes.
-
Gavi La Battistina, Araldica, Piemonte 75cl
Aromatic, zesty, sherbety nose with apple and pears, lime and passionfruit, and a hint of minerality. Juicy, weighty fruit with a zippy, citric acid mouthwatering feel creating a refreshing, satisfying finish.
- Garda Classico Groppello San Biagio, Podere Selva Capuzza, Garda DOC 75cl
The Groppello is considered the most important red grape variety of the area. When vinified on its own, it produces highly characterfull red wines that are unique to our land. It displays an exuberant nose of small red fruits and a soft yet lively and lingering palate.
- Fazzoletto Barbera Passito, Piemonte 75cl
A fresh, vibrant and juicy red with aromas of sweet ripe plums and cherries. The palate shows the fruit-forward characters of cherry and wild plum and the ripe rounded finish is balanced by fresh bramble acidity.
- Chianti Prunatelli, Tuscany 75cl
This has a ripe spicy nose, with vibrant redcurrant and cherry fruit. The palate has more fresh and juicy cherry and plum characters, with soft, ripe tannins, spice and good acidity giving great balance. A sappy yet substantial and authentic style of Chianti.
