With a nod to the stylish envelope clutch, that chic classic, comes this amusing Veuve Clicquot yellow oversized envelope carrier. Otherwise flat, with the raised contours of a 75cl bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut, the clutch opens up to reveal an isothermic nest capable of keeping that bottle cold for up to one hour.

The notion of correspondence has an essential place in the heritage of the Maison Veuve Clicquot: the archives of the Maison Veuve Clicquot contain thousands of letters and documents. These letters trace the history of the Maison through the correspondence between the Maison's customers, agents, suppliers, and Madame Clicquot herself. In 2014, Clicquot pays homage to its history by reinventing the concept of correspondence with the twist that characterises the Maison.

From behind her desk in Reims, at the beating heart of the Champagne trade, Madame Clicquot ran her empire boldly, with the stroke of a pen. It was through the mail that she directed her suppliers and agents, and satisfied the wishes of her customers, some at unheard of distances.

Unique amongst the great houses of Champagne, Veuve Clicquot has maintained the entirety of Madame Clicquot's correspondence. It is the history that Clicquot Mail celebrates, with a whimsical range of products.

There are plenty of lovers of the famous Yellow Label who refuse point blank to drink anything else. A stunning non vintage with great body and roundness, it never disappoints.

Lingering fruity flavours of apple and pear on the palate create a fresh, harmonious and lively Champagne.

Grapes from as many as 60 vineyards make up the Yellow label blend. Usually the proportion of each grape variety is around 55% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay. The chief blender will draw on reserve wines to form the cuvee. Each of these older wines (some up to 8 years old) are used to maintain consistency year after year.
