This albarino has a lemon yellow colour, with greenish reflections, clean and bright.
On the nose it has a high intensity, complexity, and varietal aromas such as white flower, magnolia, which stand out on a mixture of Reineta apple and mandarin. On the palate it is fresh, persistent and with a very refreshing acidity at the end.
Grapes from autochthonous vineyards are very well adapted to granite and clay soils of the estate, which, together with the microclimate of the area, makes them unique system of conduction of the vine. The harvest is done carefully by hand. The grapes are from vineyards oriented towards the south of Galicia, delimited by the Miño river and transited by the Tea river, which crosses it from north to south.
The 2020 vintage in the DO Rías Baixas has been characterized by a very warm winter and spring with abundant rainfall. The grapes matured perfectly, reaching a perfect balance between acidity and “probable degree”.
La Marimorena is flexible with a range of cheese styles including soft goat's, Gruyère, Emmenthal, pecorino, parmesan and Cheddar.
