This fruit-rendered red is full of charm. Fruity, balanced, round and with a long finish, this is the perfect choice to pair any gastronomic celebration with friends. Some smoky and earthy elements stand out, with a touch of fresh grass that adds tension to the wine. Well-integrated tannins and balsamic acidity give structure. Great wine.
MMM is 90% Monastrell, 7% Syrah and 3% Petit Verdot. The 100,000 kg of Monastrell come from 45 hectares of vineyards between 6 and 80 years old, 70% owned and 30% on lease, surrounding the winery in a maximum diameter of 10 km. The Syrah and the Petit Verdot are 6 years old, both vineyards bordering the left and right sides of the winery.
The 2019 vintage was a very extraordinary vintage in El Valle de La Raja, with an unexpected end; a meteorological phenomenon called DANA (Isolated Depression in High Levels). After a dry winter, they had an excellent spring and summer, allowing their Monastrell to mature to perfection. However, the harvest was affected by DANA, with heavy rains that affected the entire Mediterranean. Luckily, those rains were less intense in the “Altiplano” of Murcia. Due to that, they delayed the start of the harvest until 25th of September, finishing the 100,000 kg of grapes, on the 15th of October, which is almost a month, giving them the possibility to make a very careful selection.
Best served with veal or even pizza!
