Not only is this a great example of an Albariño bursting with soft peach and citrus notes and the promised freshness, for us it comes with memories of two visits to the exceptional town of Jose Ignacio, one of our favourite places in Uruguay.
Recommended restaurant La Huella if you go there. One of the top 50 in the world. This resort is the secret of the real ‘beautiful people’ from all over the world. Worth Googling!

Had this on a recent holiday and enjoyed it so much I bought a few bottles. Often Red gives me a headache, not this one, it goes down a treat, subsequently I’ll be buying more 🙂

A great German lager from an iconic Bavarian brewer at an extremely competitive price. What’s not to like?

Delicious one of our favourites.

A crisp, fresh chardonnay, excellent for a sunny afternoon when chilled.

My son recently brought me a bottle of this back from a business trip to South Africa. Said it was their ‘go to’ white. I can understand why. Beautiful depth and concentration of flavour and a refreshing change from my personal ‘go to’ New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

An excellent find and remarkable value at this price. Fresh and mineral, but with enough body and texture to make it genuinely interesting, with lovely stone-fruit, subtle herbal and slightly nutty notes. If you enjoy characterful, dry whites such as Grüner Veltliner or Greco di Tufo, this is well worth trying. I bought a few bottles to sample and was seriously impressed — I’ll certainly be buying more. In fact I. Just compiling my new order now!

Absolutely love this wine. Probably my favourite sauvignon blanc and a fabulous price point.
