The small degree of the ‘ripasso’ method further boosts the richness of the mouthfeel.

Beautiful deep, but smooth, red wine. Highly recommend it.

I bumped into this little gem at my favourite Italian restaurant in Stamford, Lincolnshire. So I searched for it and NDJOHN was where I found it. It's dark fruits with a hint of chocolate on the palette. Very soft and round. It would sit comfortably with beef ragu (bolognese) or steak with fries. And simply lush on its own but recommend to get the temperature right. Don't drink it cold.
One of our favourite Italian wines. A great blend of Primitivo with Negroamaro, resulting in a full flavoured, smooth and easy drinking wine. Great value at current price.
