This pale ale is brewed with silly amounts of Idaho 7, Motueka and Cashmere hops along with an experimental yeast strain known for creating beers with voluptuous body and ripe tropical fruit flavours.
Beak began life as a nomadic project run by food and drink writer Daniel Tapper, who spent several years honing his recipes with friends at some of the UK’s greatest breweries. The project then laid roots in the East Sussex town of Lewes in 2020 where it also runs a taproom and street-food canteen. Though best known for its hop-forward IPAs, the brewery also makes a wide range of beers from crisp and clear pilsners to decadent imperial stouts.
