Masterfully brewed and carefully refined according to the original recipe from 1955 with selected ingredients. This is how our Edles Helles matures calmly in cool storage cellars until it wakes up with a pop after being filtered to a brilliant shine. Brewed with water from the Flensburg glacier spring and according to the German Purity Law. This is what we have stood for as an independent family brewery since 1888.

Germany's most northern brewery, Flensburger, is located on the shores of the Baltic near the Danish border and is the world's biggest user of flip top bottles; hence their advertising strap line being 'Plop!'

The brewery is still operating its own water well, supplied by an underground vein of melting Ice Age water sourced from Scandinavia.
