There is more depth, more intensity and length in this red Casal da Coelheira. Crafted using only the premium grapes from Casal da Coelheira Estate vineyards, after fermentation ages for 12 months on French and American oak barrels.
The Reserve is a full-bodied wine, with more fruit driven character, where freshness is the key factor alongside solid tannins.
Notes of black currant and plum on the nose with a touch of flowers and dried herbs. Structured pallet with firm but approachable tannins complemented by a velvety finish. It is very gastronomic, with firm tannins but already well tamed for immediate consumption. Its great structure will enable also to support half dozen years in the bottle for those who choose to keep it for some time.
