Intense dark cherry colour. Attractive aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants and raspberries, blended together with hints of spice and vanilla. Complex and elegant on the palate with fine tannins and a good length.

Made from hand selected grapes from our vineyards in Rioja Alta

Made from grapes hand-selected from our Rioja Alta vineyards. Its colour and structure are achieved by maceration after alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation gives the wine the appropriate maturity for aging in American and French oak barrels. Before bottling, it is traditionally clarified with egg whites. Finally, it moves to our cellars where it ages under ideal temperature and humidity conditions until it is released onto the market.

The 2008 harvest was characterized by excellent weather, mild temperatures, and abundant rainfall throughout the year. The drop in temperatures in the final ripening phase led to a later harvest date compared to previous years, resulting in perfect grape parameters. Combined with the low yield per hectare, this yield is of high quality.
