Intense cherry-red colour with hints of ruby and mauve. Complex aromas with toasted oak well integrated with the fruit. Body well balanced between the fruit and the oak. in appearance the wine is young, lively, deep in colour and intense, with deep morello reds flashed through with bright violet. Aged for 4 months in oak, which gives nice depth of flavour. Silky texture, thanks to ripe, well-integrated tannins. Rich black cherry fruit and vanilla notes.

The aging of Valdubón Roble lasted four months in new barrels of American oak (75%) and French (25%). The nursery is heated to 17ºC to ensure a slow and without deviations. The periodic tasting indicates the point where the wine shows a perfect balance between its structure and the contribution of wood, this being the right moment to end its barrel aging. Wine made exclusively with grapes 100% Tempranillo
The original vineyards of Valdubón are distributed by different terms of Ribera del Duero, being its main origins the terms of Roa, Pardilla and Milagros. The vineyards selected to make Valdubón Reserva are those that with an age over 30 years, they stand out for providing a grape of great concentration and with exceptional aromatic potential.
Valdubón Roble is made entirely with Tinta del País grape (Tempranillo). The original vines of Valdubón are spread over different terms of Ribera del Duero, the main origins of which are Roa and Milagros. A strict follow-up of the care applied to the vineyard is carried out, focusing the efforts on a severe thinning of bunches that leaves the vine with an average production of 7-8 bunches per vine that suppose a maximum yield of 5,000 kg / Ha.

The Bodegas Valdubón are located on the outskirts of Milagros, a town near Aranda de Duero (Burgos). They are part of the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero. The winery was founded in 1997 and since that year it has not stopped producing wines. The vineyard is located on the northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula, on the banks of the Douro River. These lands have been cultivated for more than 2,000 years and today, Ribera de Duero is one of the most prestigious appellations of origin in Spain. The winery manages 155 hectares of vineyards, of which 50% are owned. The vines are country ink, merlot and cabernet sauvignon.
