Intense ruby red in colour, it has a broad scent of black currant, cinnamon, cloves and liquorice which alternate with each other on the nose. On the palate, it stands out for consistency and persistence, characterized by good tannin and good minerality.

The harvest is special and takes place in three phases: the grapes are harvested at an increasing degree of ripeness, from ripe to overripe. The vinification takes place separately and proceeds with a maturation in separate containers, barrels of various sizes and barriques for 12–18 months. After assembly, there is a final ageing in bottle for 6 months.

It goes perfectly with important game dishes, roasts, grilled meats.
