Pale golden yellow colour, very fine and elegant, intense and persistent aromas. In the mouth it is very fresh, fruity, good structured and with a slight characteristic bitter taste.
In the hearth of Tuscany, a treasure of unrivalled beauty stands: the Chianti hills. Their wavy and sinuous shapes have always drawn people’s attention since the remote times of the Etruscans. There, at the beginning of Sixties, seventeen winegrowers joined to give voice to Tuscan countryside and to revamp the local economy. Thus was born, in the shadow of a farmhouse, the cooperative of the Agricoltori del Chianti Geografico (Farmers of Chianti Geografico), an adventure meant to write the history of Tuscan wine.
The Vernaccia Borgo alla Terra grapes are harvested around mid-September, about 10 days later than usual. We make use of the most modern winemaking techniques to enhance the varietal character, made with soft pressing and low fermentation temperatures.
Pairs well with fish dishes, as shellfish, seafood and grilled meat.
