The wine has a rich, clean, intense aroma with a predominance of notes of ripe berries, among which the nuances of currants and blackberries are especially prominent. The bouquet exquisitely accentuates the noble touches of oak, as well as the nuances of menthol, black pepper and cinnamon.

The silky and enveloping taste of the wine reveals a refined sweetish tannin, which provides a good structure and exquisite character of the taste chord. It is dominated by berry notes, framed by strokes of spices. The finish is long, with light nuances of coffee and a delicate sourness.

"Glorioso" Seleccion Especial, Rioja DOCa - fine Spanish wine from the Tempranillo variety, grapes for which are grown in the eminent region of Rioja. The plots are rich in clay-limestone soils, and the climate ideally combines Mediterranean and Atlantic features. These conditions are most favorable for Tempranillo. In the process of vinification, the wine is exposed to at least 13 months of aging in French oak barrels. After bottling and before it goes on sale, the wine is additionally aged in the bottle for another 6 months. As a result, “Glorioso” Seleccion Especial fully lives up to its name and is truly an excellent result of the mastery of oenologists and generous gifts of nature. 

Wine will be a good addition to dishes of red meat, fried duck, meat snacks and delicacies, mature cheeses.
