A light subtle sparkling rosé, petal pink with a pleasant persistent mousse, a delicate nose, light and crisp on the palate, displaying mellowing orchard fruit.

Glyndwr Vineyard produces a range of fine, award-winning wines which have been carefully blended and fermented by their skilled winemaker for over 35 years.

The current owners pioneered the revival of viticulture in Wales, establishing Glyndwr Vineyard in 1979, making it the oldest family estate in Wales.

The wines have graced many a fine occasion including European State banquets, the restaurant in the House of Lords, the Ryder Cup and a Nato Summit.

Glyndwr wines have won many competitions and commendations from Decanter Magazine to the UK Vineyards Association Awards. The sparkling wines have been particularly successful with the Brut taking first prize in the renowned South West Vineyards Association competition. The red wine, judged by four Masters of Wine, was singled out for a double gold in the same competition, the first time this accolade had ever been awarded.

Another vintage Brut blended from Seyval Blanc and Triomphe d'Alsace grapes. It is made in the traditional 'methode champenoise', fermented in the bottle.

Grape Varieties: Seyval Blanc and Triomphe d'Alsace.

Lovely celebration wine

A really nice special occasion bottle. Pretty peachy pink colour, smells like hay and a little yeast/biscuit, tastes like strawberries, sweet but sharp and not sickly. The fizz has a good mouthfeel and stayed bubbly for a couple of days after opening. Can probably get similar quality cremants for a lower price but if you're the sort of person who's inclined to pay more for a Welsh wine this is worth it!
