A fresh, crunchy wine with red fruit flavours of cherry, kirsch and raspberries. A supple, textured mouth that has well balanced acidity to match heady tannins. Vibrant fruit on the finish.

Brouilly is the largest and, in terms of terroir, the most complex of Beaujolais 10 crus. The most southerly of the crus, the appellation stretches over sections of the six communes that surround Mount Brouilly, encompassing more or less all soil types.

The wines of Brouilly, produced from the Gamay grape, typically offer easy-drinking fruit-driven flavours, sometimes with mineral and earthy notes and Gamay’s distinctive floral character.
