With a delicate, aromatic nose, this wine is herbaceous with ripe weighty fruit on the palate. It has a good linear structure with a gentle complexity and freshness on the finish.

2013 was a good vintage in Graves with characteristic freshness from Sémillon grown on the estate’s limestone soils.

Xavier & Caroline Perromat took over the running of the 18th century Château (in the heart of the small village of Cérons) and the 26 hectare estate from his parents in 2012. Viticulture is sustainable; wine-making is precise producing wines with a fine minerality and balance. The vineyards are on a plateau of gravel over limestone overlooking the river Garonne, perfect terroir for Sémillon in particular.

Grapes were hand harvested in late September, whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel with 4-6 weeks of lees stirring. No oak.
