Once a part of Château Lagrange, this estate has a fine reputation. The 30 hectares of vineyard are planted with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc vines. It is situated between Château Talbot and Château Lagrange.

Chateau Lalande is made up from 55% Cabernet, 40% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc and is perfectly situated between the classed growths of Talbot and Lagrange (Classified in 1855 as fourth and third growths respectively). This enviable position elevates what is in fact a simple Petite Château to something quite special.

Grapes are carefully harvested before being destemmed and crushed and transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation last around 10-15 days, with 7 days maceration.

This is an absolute must with roast beef.
