Château Martin has produced a delightful, rich 2015 Graves that we knew we had to buy when we first tasted. Their vineyards were first planted in the 17th century by Monks who had a keen eye as to what was the best terroir in the region, and no doubt drunk considerable quantities of it as well as selling the rest in barrels in Bordeaux to finance their Order.
Today those vineyards continue the tradition making an excellent merlot and cabernet blend with just the right amount of oak aging. The 2015 vintage was awarded a gold medal by Gilbert & Gaillard as well as a 90 point score from the Wine Enthusiast.

"This wine's rich character has been enhanced by wood aging that has smoothed the tannins and brought out the black fruits. It is concentrated and dense, hinting at spice and with juicy blueberries at the end. Drink the wine from 2020." - 90 POINTS ROGER VOSS, WINE ENTHUSIAST
