The nose is fine and floral with aromas of hawthorn, and acacia. Notes of lemongrass and white peach are predominant. The palate is round, supple, with notes of citrus and acacia. This wine is rich, well-structured, which delivers a fine expression of the Chardonnay grape variety.

Ideal with seafood gratins, poultry, shellfish and sautéed vegetables, veal, or steamed fish, poached and in white sauce, flowery cheeses, such as Camembert, and Goat cheeses.

Philippe Mariller, brother-in-law, Michel Gaillard, and his son Valentin, freshly graduated with a diploma in winegrowing and winemaking from the Davayé wine school, are the three partners behind this new wine domaine. The domaine is situated in the Viré area of the Burgundy wine region and has 42 hectares of vines including the magnificent ‘Epinet’ climat which enjoys a south-eastern exposure and produces some very dry and mineral wines.
