An assemblage of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (part of which is vinified in red), and stands out due to its delightful pink colouring with coppery highlights.
The nose is characterised by aromas of small red fruits from the forest.
The sweet attack develops into red fruit. Its long palate is refreshed by the fruitiness of the grape varieties.
Eugene Mercier founded his own champagne house in 1858 at the tender age of twenty. He had set himself the ambitious goal of bringing high-quality champagne to the general public.
When he died in 1904 Eugene Mercier had achieved his life's ambition. Mercier was already one of the leading traders in the Champagne region and his son-in-law and sons were ready to take up the reins with justifiable pride.
In 1970 Maison Mercier merged with Moet & Chandon, and then, in 1987, joined the LVMH group - France's leading luxury goods specialist.
