Rich, bright green-yellow paling a little at the rim. Wonderfully juicy notes of fruit on the nose, ripe green apple, elegant spiciness, fine hints of stone fruit, some grape sugar and fine vegetal notes reminiscent of elderflower and nettle. Wonderfully crisp, dense and elegant on the palate, rich in finesse, ripe stone fruit, pleasant undertone of herbal spiciness, hint of white pepper, fresh minerality, subtle acid structure, balanced and juicy, robust body, fine grapefruit with Golden Delicious apple in the wonderfully long-lasting finish. Rich in Finesse.

Illmitz is not only the home town of the Salzls, their vines also grow here in between the nationalpark Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel - a world heritage region. It is an obligation for Christoph Salzl, a mission and an honor at the same time, not only to live in this region, but to wholeheartedly appreciate and protect this privilege. Three generations of Salzls work with a lot of experience, heart and soul to vinificate great wines with passion.

The vineyard is chernozem similar to loess consisting of sandy clay with a high amount of gravel. Alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks at 15 °C.
