Full on berry and spice aromas jump out at you from Lodi’s oldest, low yield vineyards. Bursting with blackberry flavours, this 'bang for your buck' red has a long lingering finish with very gentle tannins.
Grapes are harvested from old, low yield vineyards in Lodi, 100km east of San Francisco. Vinification takes place in stainless steel fermentation at 78- 80°F for 10 days followed by 24 months on 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels.
Matches brilliantly with roasted and grilled meats, especially pork.

A beautifully rounded, first rate Zinfandel. Good value at its normal price, and an absolute steal at under £10!
I have always liked Zinfandel and especially since we paid a visit to Paso Robles ZinFest about 10 years ago. Then the average price for a bottle was about $30 ex vineyard, it is now about $45. This bottle stands comparison so is remarkable value when you think there is duty, VAT and shipping included in the price.
I bought a bottle at the Liberty/Swansea.com Stadium and drank it I about 40 minutes, very nice , a ltlle fruit forward and very moreish.
