A remarkably good entry-level Chianti with a rounded palate and vibrant cherry fruit.
After pressing, the grapes undergo temperature-controlled fermented in stainless steel using selected yeasts - with pumping over twice a day. After 10-15 days the wine is racked and fermentation finished in cement tanks.
Perfumed aromas of red cherry lead onto a palate of bramble fruits, black cherry, fresh redcurrants and spice - all balanced by vibrant acidity and supple tannins.
Roasted and grilled meats, pici pasta with rabbit ragu.
