Our 2020 vintage traditional method Welsh sparkling wine, made from a blend of Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir, grown in our family-run, low-intervention vineyard in Pembrokeshire. With a fine mousse, notes of orange blossom, white fruits and honey. The wine is enriched by 36 months of ageing on lees, giving a long finish of freshly baked brioche.
Velfrey Vineyard have chosen to specialise in the production of sparkling wines following the traditional method as used in the production of Champagne. Their Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc grapes allow them to utilise the long Pembrokeshire summers to fully develop great depth of flavour whilst maintaining the perfect balance of acidity and sugar levels needed to create a premium, traditional method, sparkling wine.
