Z is a fruity, well-balanced and elegant wine, a great Bordeaux to drink everyday, a subtlemix between the savoriness of Merlot, the lightness of Cabernet Sauvignon and the freshness of Petit Verdot.

A Bordeaux wine as precious as an AC Margaux wine. Bordeaux “Z” vineyard is a 8,5 hectares single plot of fully drained alluvium soil located on the Gironde river left bank in front of Margaux village. The vines are planted with a high density and hand worked as per as the Clos des 4 Vents AC Margaux vineyard the main wine of the owners. This wine is vinified into the Clos des 4 Vents cellars in the same way than the greatest wines under the consultancy of the famous oenologist Mr Boissenot.

The planting density and the viticultural works, that are the same the one in Margaux, give them great quality fruits they harvest when ripen. The winemaking consists in light pumping over around 25°C and aging in concrete tanks for 11 months before bottling it in September the following year. This preserves the fruit freshness.

Particularly nice with turkey cutlets with feta and cherry tomatoes, Wellington beef tenderloin, veal breast, cordon bleu with veal and raw ham, shepherd's pie with zucchini and beef.
