A vibrant and expressive Vermentino from Sicily's west coast, where many of the vineyards face the sea to benefit from light reflected from the waves. It's named after the delicate white flower of the lemon tree.
Delicate stone fruit aromas with zesty lemon and floral notes. The palate has bright citrus peel and peach characters, an appealing texture and minerality, fresh acidity and a gently savoury finish.
Vermentino thrives near the sea, such as on Sicily's west coast where these grapes are cultivated - also the source of some of the island's best Grillo. Fermentation is in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks followed by a short period on fine lees.
Delicious with fish and seafood, and simple pasta dishes.

One of the best Sicilian wines we've ever tasted.. excellent with or without food
Delicious, crisp, dry ,fruity white wine. So lovely that we have ordered several times. Goes with chicken and pasta dishes, but great to drink on its own on summer evenings.
