Here the Appassimento method is applied to the Negroamaro, Malvasia Nero, Merlot and Cabernet grapes from the Puglia area of South East Italy. Producing a wine that is full bodied, rich and complex. Lots of complex and fruity flavours with notes of ripe dark cherries, fresh herbs and vanilla.
A modern styled red blending a little Primitivo with Negroamaro, giving a sweeter fruit feel. This is a complex, sophisticated red from southern Italy, full-bodied and intense, packed with blackberries, black cherries and plums and softly sweet on the finish.
A fresh, vibrant and juicy red with aromas of sweet ripe plums and cherries. The palate shows the fruit-forward characters of cherry and wild plum and the ripe rounded finish is balanced by fresh bramble acidity.

What an excellent Italian Red Wine selection. I bought a case of 6 bottles for Christmas. Fruity flavour, smooth to drink, and a good deep red colour and viscosity. I will definitely be buying another half case of this selection in the future.
The Appassimento Rossi di Puglia is my favourite full of fruity flavours. This case was pretty good value for money.
The Apassimento we knew already is very very high quality, Bacca Nera matches the description perfectly and the Fazzoletto a more old fashioned high quality Italian wine, all very enjoyable.
