The estate is owned by Dominique Martin whose father-in-law was one of the founder members of Cave de Rauzan. She continues to take her grapes to the Cave to be vinified. Fermentation is in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats equipped with a micro-oxygenation system and the wine is unoaked.
Château Berjuquey, one of Bordeaux's most consistent estates, is situated in Mérignas in the Gironde. M. Bonnefin is the vigneron owner, having inherited his grandparents' passion for growing vines. He manages his vineyards sustainably, working with Entres-Deux-Mers co-operative Cave de Rauzan to produce the wines.
The vineyards are situated in Puch on clay and limestone soils. Traditional winemaking in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats equipped with a micro-oxygenation system.
A versatile red which will work well with grilled meats, hard cheeses or mushroom based dishes.
