The 2015 Domaine Roux Santenay 1er Cru undergoes meticulous hand-harvesting with strict selection of only the finest Pinot Noir clusters. Fermentation occurs in traditional open-top wooden vats with gentle pigeage to extract colour and flavour while preserving the wine’s delicate aromatics. Aging takes place in 30% new French oak barrels for 14 months, allowing the wine to develop complexity without overwhelming the fruit. The result is a beautifully balanced Burgundy that showcases both the vintage character and the unique minerality of Clos Rousseau.
