Brilliant pale gold. Intense nose with spicy cinnamon over yellow peaches and French nougat aromas, with just a hint of burnt sugar syrup. Palate is rich, powerful and impossibly long with peaches and barley sugar flavours all kept in check by deft acidity.
De Bortoli Wines is a third generation family wine company, established by Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli in 1928. They emigrated to Australia from their mountain village in the foothills of the Italian Alps, near the historic town of Asolo, and their Italian heritage still drives the way the family makes its wine. Vittorio's Italian family values remain at the core of De Bortoli, with a culture of hard work, generosity of spirit and the sharing of good food, good wine and good times with family and friends.
Darren De Bortoli created Noble One at our family winery in 1982, to this day it is still one of the most awarded wines in history. More than three decades after this pioneering Botrytis Semillon took the world by storm, internationally acclaimed Noble One remains the benchmark of Australian ‘Botrytis’ dessert winemaking.
