Dark red, with a slight tendency towards rust red. Intense, powerful and complex with spicy and sparkling red cherry aromas, together with wild berries, cranberries, red currants, raspberries, and a mineral citrus-vanilla charming and "soft" background. The wine appears very fresh and shows considerable volume on the nose, without seeming alcoholic. Full-bodied, velvety, polished and plump tannins with wonderful, red berry, powerful fruit length that goes in width but also in depth. Wonderful melt, soft and balanced with a mineral finish, which makes the wine feel lively and long on the palate.

The Protected Designation of Origin Utiel-Requena is a range located 60 km from the Mediterranean Sea at 700m above sea level. This idyllic location allows for a Mediterranean climate with some continental characteristics.

Harvested with the first sunlight on October 2nd, 2020 in 15kg boxes. Cultivation and production is done with minimal intervention to reflect everything, especially the terroir potential.

Cold maceration for 2 days before starting natural yeast fermentation. Fermentation at 25ºC with gentle stirring. Pressing after 15 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks where the wine is aged on the lees for 5 months. Pumping into 5,000-litre French oak foudres where it is kept for a further 5 months before bottling.
