The granite soil and marine climate give us this Amayna Syrah with intense violet colour, notes of dark and red fruit that harmoniously blend with the French oak. In palate, spicy fresh, with great character.
Starting in April 15th until April 21th, 2014, fruit selection in vineyards and in the winery. Hand-picked in 10 kilos containers. Cool maceration at 6ºC for 15 days.
14 months in French oak, with 60% of the wine in new barrels and 40% in second use barrels.
In 1999, the Garcés Silva family planted the first vines in their property in Leyda, thus becoming pioneers in producing Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir with an ocean-view. This led the family members to undertake a winemaking revolution to which they added passion, talent, business philosophy and the visions of the different clan-members.
In 2002 they gave birth to the first winery in the Leyda Valley with its Amayna wines and later with Boya.
Ideal with lamb, red meats, pastas, game birds and pasta negra ham.
