Golden mahogany colour with complex, elegant aromas and a hint of oak. Wonderful depth and maturity on the palate. Fruity and elegant with a long, harmonious and warming finish.
Produced in the Jerez region of Andalusia, Spain. Only alambic distillates are used for Fernando de Castilla's Gran Reserva Brandies. The distilled spirit is aged in barriques for 3 to 6 years before entering the " Solera " System, where it is then aged for a further decade. The exceptional Unico Gran Reserva Brandy comes from a lot of 15 barrels that were separated from the original Solera in 1972 and nothing has been drawn from this batch since . From the year 2000 onwards a limited number of bottles of this brandy are hand-bottled each year. The Unico has been aged for over 40 years in Sherry casks.
To be enjoyed on its own or at the end of a meal.
