This wine has a light straw colour. It has bouquet notes of fruits, flowers and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, this wine is complex with flavours of pears, melons, peaches, green apple, lime, pineapple, flowers like hibiscus, lilies, and vanilla. It has a long finish with medium alcohol and medium acidity.

Louis Jadot buy from over 40 growers around the five villages of Fuissé, Pouilly, Solutré, Vergisson and Chaintré and take immense care in controlling the production and maturation in oak barrels of this great wine. 40% of the blend is barrel-fermented and aged for five months. A very fine example from this famous village.

In the Mâconnais region, you can already feel the warmth of the south. Around two-thirds of the vineyards are planted with Chardonnay. The best qualities grow on the limestone hills surrounding the village of Pouilly-Fuissé, after which the wines are named.
